# Account and sign-in

> Registration, sign-in, email confirmation, and single sign-on from the MMW ecosystem.

MMW Cloud uses a secure account system to protect your personal files and workspace storage.

## Account registration

To register a new cloud account:

1. Visit https://app.mmwcloud.tech and click the Sign up link.
2. Enter your email address and choose a password.
3. Click Register. The service sends an automated verification message to your inbox.

## Email verification

The confirmation email includes a verification link matching this format:

When you follow the link:

1. The web cabinet submits the verification token to the authentication server.
2. Upon confirmation, the token parameter clears from the browser address bar.
3. Your account activates and unlocks storage plan selection and file transfers.

## Sign-in

To sign in, go to https://app.mmwcloud.tech and provide your account email and password.

If you forget your password, the Forgot password link opens the standard MMW platform recovery flow.

## Single sign-on from MMW ecosystem

MMW Cloud integrates with the broader MMW ecosystem through a unified account setup.

- One unified account: one login and password combination provides access across mmwhub and mmwcloud services.
- Seamless launch: the MMW Hub cabinet at app.mmwhub.tech includes an Open Cloud button for immediate sign-in without re-entering credentials.
- Secure handoff token: authentication relies on a single-use token valid for 60 seconds. The token travels inside the URL hash fragment, preventing exposure in web server access logs or HTTP headers. The token is revoked immediately upon first redemption.
